Nice, clean place. A lot of variety on the menu. Service was very good. Pricey. Wife got a rubin, was just ok. I got chicken wings, small but good. Probably wouldnt go back only because of the prices and value for what you get.

Ordered the 'ribs and shrimp' with no sauce. Must have had to specifically order 'ribs no sauce and shrimp with no sauce'. The ribs were sauced and I was unable to eat them. I'm sorry to say most restaurants swear their sauce is not too spicy. But, being sensitive to spices, I can't enjoy BBQ sauce. Leftovers came home and my other half said "These are delicious!" Congratulations, that was not a complete failure. And the shrimp and fries were perfectly cooked. Yum! The Loaded Baked Potato Soup is my favorite soup on the menu. Priced at less than $20, I found dinner a bargain. Customers are dressed neatly in the evening, though not upscale. Not too busy at 5 PM on a Saturday, service was fantastic and polite.

Got the lake perch. Generous portion and tasty! Breading was thicker than I like. Had carrot cake for desert - big slab of cake, took half home. My server was great and the casual atmosphere made it nice.

We would give ten stars if we could! There wet burritos are out of this world!! Everything on there menu has been fabulous, and quality is consistent. We try to go there at least once a week. Staff and owners are great and very friendly. The perch, prime rib, and clam chowder soup and loaded potato soup are awesome as well.

Food is awesome! Best in Croton/Newaygo! Also everything always tastes fresh and the portions are nice sized. I have tried many dishes here and never once have I had ANYTHING bad here!!! I highly recommend the Asian Zing Bowl, the Pastas, the Soups, everything is very good! Our favorite place to go when we are in the area!

Food is hot and delish. Prices were fair and service was excellent.

Only issue was half order of angel pasta and shrimp was ridiculously small for an adult and for the price. Don't order half orders here

I found the prices to be a little high for the food, around $20 per person without appetizers or desert if ordering cheaper plates . The service was friendly. The food was great! We really enjoyed the regular and sweet potato fries. Their ranch dressing is VERY good. There were lots of options for meals with a large price range. The dining area was clean and spacious.

Had the white fish, very good. Friendly service. Will be going back.

Nice atmosphere. Really good food! We shared a plate of frog legs and a plate of lake perch. Way more than either one of us could eat.

Food was good but cost us 75.00 plus tip for the 2 of us. It was very hot not sure if the air conditioning was not working at the time.

They are tremendously overpriced. Took my family out for dinner and couldn't believe that they were charging so much money for the food that wasn't anything special. Steak and potato was running almost 35$$ which is ridiculous. Good place to go and have a drink but if you decide to eat it's gonna get a bit pricey.

One of the few restaurants in the area.

It was Valentine's day, it was busy. Food took a lot longer than expected. Baked potato was cold, steak was under cooked but it is a nice atmosphere.

What an awesome little treasure in the woods. Stopped in for dinner on our way camping and was highly impressed by the entire experience. Excellent friendly service and impressive menu was our first impression. Then our food came and was every bit as impressive as everything else. Thank you for the experience!

If u like eating ur wet burrito w ur hands, no napkins, u've come too the right place. 3rd too go order w o silverware, napkins, condiments. I wouldn't let my dog eat there.

The food was fairly good - however it didn’t appear that the restaurant had implemented mitigation measures for COVID-19. None of the workers wore masks, there were no changes to reduce the capacity, there were no plexiglass barriers, there were no changes at the bar, common areas were not actively disinfected, etc. If you are sensitive to concerns about COVID-19, you might want to rethink going there. I didn’t feel that they paid attention to the extra care measures that are mandated to be in place for restaurants.

Food was really good!! The Croton Crack fries were phenomenal!! And the Mexican Ranch chicken salad was delicious as well!! A little over priced and they charge for glass of water..which personally I don't agree with. But the food is definitely worth it and the portions are pretty decent.

The Red Anchor is arguably the best restaurant in the county. Service and staff are beyond excellence. Wonderful people. Great experience!

Ordered takeout tonight perch dinner with an order of fried mushrooms.everything was hot and very good. Called order in very easy and friendly service. They brought the order to my car , never got out . Thanks for your hard work, and good food

Doesn't look like much from the outside. But it was quite nice on the inside. They were fully staffed and the service was good. I had a sizzler, french fries and a side salad. The salad was really good. It was bigger than a normal side salad. My steak was done to perfection and super tender! The french fries were so good! My husband had chicken strips and french fries. He said that the batter on the chicken was on the greasy side, otherwise good. Their portions are large. We will definitely go again!

Four of us went to dinner and all of our meals were wonderful. The walleye is amazing. The service was excellent also, we are going back.

We are vacationing here from FL. Lived in MI most of my life and your Walleye and perch are the best. My hubby from CT never had Walleye and is hooked. Service and food are top notch for a small town.

VERY good food, a little pricey but we get what we pay for especially in such a small community. I shouldn't fail to mention that it was a very clean and cozy environment.

Amazing food! The perch is great as well as the Croton Crack Fries. It wasn't busy on a Sunday afternoon around 1:45. I would definitely come here again.
